OUR COMPANY BACKGROUND

Trans Sea Transport Group began its activities in 1979 with a large contract of affreightment to ship monthly parcels of 10,000mt steels from Italy to USA for account of U.S. Steel. Since then, TST has grown and evolved over the years to successfully execute contracts with other cargoes such as grains, cement, wood pulp, woodchips and DRI. All of the Group's chartering activities are conducted in the marketplace under the name of Trans Sea Transport NV (TST NV) and TST NV handles all the Commercial Management for the Group.

We are able to control every aspect of Accounting, Budgeting, Claims Handling, Maintenance, Technical Supervision, Crew Management, Safety, Quality Management, Operations, Chartering, and Information Technology.
Due to a fundamental change in market conditions in 2003, we saw an opportunity to become asset players in the shipping industry and play the cyclical market to our advantage. This has been the focus of TST's activities over the past years and it has been very successful.

The TST Group specializes in its ability to manage old or new tonnage profitably in the DryBulk Handy to Panamax sector mainly in the spot market. We are Owners, Operators and Managers of DryBulk vessels.

TST has excellent customer relationships and provides first-class service to clients that include large grain commodity houses, steel, mineral, fertilizer and energy traders and producers.

The Management team combines Commercial, Technical, Operational, and Claims Handling experience with skills in maritime management ensuring excellent customer relationships with first-class charterers and industries. TST has the expertise to provide transportation services of special and dangerous cargo in difficult trade routes including ice routes and ports. Commercial and Financial Management for the TST Group is handled via its Agents as follows: Sogemm S.A.M. in Monte Carlo and Triworld Shipping Services, Inc. in New York, while the Technical Management is handled by TST International S.A. in Athens, Greece. With these offices and partners, we are able to control every aspect of Accounting, Budgeting, Claims Handling, Maintenance, Technical Supervision, Crew Management, Safety, Quality Management, Operations, Chartering, and Information Technology.
